This document establishes the pre-contractual information regarding contracts concluded at a distance on the website www.laserperformance.comThe domain www.laserperformance.com is owned by Laserperformance Unipessoal, Lda., incorporated under the laws of Portugal, with registered office at Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar, nº 19, 4º direito – sala B, 1050 012 Lisboa, Portugal, VAT number 515433764 (hereinafter “Laserperformance”).

Laserperformance reserves the right to freely modify this pre-contractual information in order to adapt it to the applicable legislation, without any prior notice.

Both browsing through the website www.laserperformance.com, its subdomains and sub-websites, as well as the purchase of any product at those addresses, presupposes acceptance of the present information and General Conditions of Use on this page.


  1. Terms of access and use of this website

The User undertakes to use this website in compliance with the provisions of applicable legislation, refraining from using the website for activities contrary to the law, morals and good customs, or the rights and interests of third parties.

The website www.laserperformance.com may have links to other websites, which may contain useful information/tools for their users. These general conditions will not apply to third party websites. As such, if the user visits another website, redirected from our website, he/she should read its privacy policy.

Laserperformance is not responsible for damages resulting from any computer viruses or any other situations to which it is unrelated and which prevent access and correct functioning of the www.laserperformance.com domain as well as the services available therein.

All content and information contained in www.laserperformance.com and its subdomains are the property of Laserperformance and therefore the use, reproduction, copying and dissemination by other means of logos, texts, images and videos contained in this website is subject to its authorization advance in that sense.


  1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

4.1 – These Conditions are governed under Portuguese law competent to settle conflicts that arise on Orders of Products.

4.2 – Laserperformance will only adhere to alternative dispute resolution (ADR), mediation or arbitration regimes when required by law. Laserperformance is bound by limited arbitration per consumer regarding disputes of low economic value (amount less than five thousand euros < €5,000.00), under the terms of law No. 63/2019, of 16 August. 144/2015, of 8 September, Laserperformance informs consumers that they can consult qualified alternative dispute resolution centers here https://www.cniacc.pt/pt/rede-centros-de-arbitragem.

For alternative dispute resolution, particularly in the case of cross-border purchases, there are also specific platforms for online alternative dispute resolution (ODR).


  1. Product Information and Prices

6.1 – Product Information

Laserperformance takes into account the information regarding the essential characteristics of the products through technical descriptions shared by its suppliers, and photographs that illustrate the products sold, in strict compliance with the best market standards.

6.2 – Price information

The retail prices indicated on www.laserperformance.com and its subdomains are shown in the currency defined based on customer country. VAT is included in all prices mentioned.

The shipping service costs may be borne by the user and the buyer and are added to the total value of the selected products. You will be informed of these charges before confirming your order and completing the purchase process. Laserperformance reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, Laserperformance undertakes to apply the rates and prices indicated at the time of placing the purchase order.

In the event of a computer, manual, technical error, or of any other origin, which causes a substantial change not foreseen by Laserperformance in the sale price to the public, in such a way that it becomes exorbitant or manifestly derisory, the purchase order will be considered invalid and cancelled.

Accepted payment methods: Visa and Mastercard. The invoice is automatically generated and sent to the user’s email.

The prices of the products available on www.laserperformance.com are valid for purchase orders made through www.laserperformance.com.


  1. Warranty

7.1– Warranty information

The verification of product defects is verified by the customer through a complete inspection of the Products immediately after receipt until the 14th day of possession. Provide Laserperformance with immediate notification using the Online Warranty Form, with all details required by the form and photographs of any defect that is visible or should be apparent, and if the defect does not become apparent until after use, you will immediately upon discovering the defect notify us in writing containing full details (including photos) of the defect(s) and the circumstances under which such defects occurred.

Please note that the basic warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for products used in normal conditions and in compliance with instruction manuals, during the 36 months “warranty period” following purchase.

If any of warranty claims you are recording in this form are for the following reasons, these warranty claims will not be covered under warranty:

  1. Normal wear and tear. Please refer to the product instruction manual for guidance on how to maintain your sailboat;
  2. Improper assembly.
  3. Improper follow-up maintenance.
  4. Damages caused by installation of non Laserperformance components, parts or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the product as sold.
  5. Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  6. Damage due to environmental conditions, such as storms and water pollution.
  7. Modification or alteration of product in any way, without Laserperformance written authorization.
  8. Products purchased from an unauthorized dealer or source.
  9. Repairs carried out by an unauthorized third party.
  10. Any product other than Laserperformance sailboats and authorized parts and accessories.
  11. Use of product for commercial purpose, such as a charter boat, for more than 90 days from the date of purchase.

We will replace or repair any defective Product within the Warranty Period.

7.2– Warranty Policy

LaserPerformance (LP) warrants to the original consumer purchaser of a new and unused sailboat hull manufactured by, or for LP to be free from any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions during the 36 months following the original purchase.

If any product is used for commercial purposes, including use as a charter boat, the warranty shall expire ninety 180 days from date of purchase.

LaserPerformance obligations under this Limited Warranty are limited to supplying the part or parts and labor for the repair, or replacement of any part or parts that are found to be defective. Limited Warranty claims submitted by owners domiciled in territories without local LP representation may be required to deliver the hulls to the nearest authorized location at their expense and if, at the option of the LP arranges for a technician to visit the Customer’s site to repair or replace the defective products, and for delays beyond LP control with except that Customer will not be responsible for any charge in relation to on-site technician time actually involved in performing the repair or replacement of such Defect goods. All warranty repairs are subject to prior authorization by LP, and all decisions regarding warranty claims are the sole responsibility of LP.


This Limited Warranty shall not apply to any sailboat which has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, or repair made by any unauthorized person, or to any repair necessitated by normal wear and tear, accident, or negligence.

This warranty, together with any and all warranties implied by law, shall be limited to maximum duration of 36 months from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser of the sailboat, and is non-transferable.

The repair or replacement of defective products or goods during the warranty will extend the period of the warranty of such Products equivalent to repair time.



Warranty procedure:

You may secure performance of warranty obligations hereunder by:

  1. Submission the Customer Warranty Claim form on our Website. LP Customer care will process the request and contact you for more information or a resolution.
  2. Present “Proof of Purchase” (Dealer Invoice or LaserPerformance Original Invoice), with the Hull Identification Number and personal identification to the authorized LaserPerformance dealer to validate the Warranty Period.


  1. Delivering your boat to an authorized LaserPerformance Service Center for an examination.
  2. The dealer is obligated to follow whatever course is appropriate at the direction of LaserPerformance.
  3. Upon completion of warranty obligations, the Dealer/Authorized Service Center will notify you of when your boat is ready to be picked up.

Limitation of Liability.

Except as expressly provided in this document, the Company shall have no liability to the Client for any indirect, special, consequential or incidental loss or damage of any kind suffered or incurred by the Client, in any way, issue or arising, whether by breach or not performance of any of its obligations under the Contract or the establishment, installation, performance, operation or use of the Goods, except liability for death or personal injury arising out of the Company’s proven negligence.


  1. Exchanges and returns

The consumer has a period of 14 days, counting from the day on which he acquires physical possession of the goods or the day on which he acquires physical possession of the last good, in the case of several goods ordered in a single order and delivered separately, to proceed the return of your order, and without the need to indicate the reason.
